SPIRITUAL MEANING:
The dragon is traditionally the Guardian of Power. The original of all dragons was a version of the serpent Tiamat Goddess of Chaos and Darkness. In conquering the dragon, spiritually we become custodians of our own future.PSYCHOLOGICAL / EMOTIONAL PERSPECTIVE:
There is a heroic part in each of us which must face dangerous conflict in order to overcome the lower side of our natures and reach our inner resources. Dreaming of a dragon allows us that conflict.
EVERYDAY MATERIAL ASPECTS:
The dragon is a complex and universal symbol. Seen as both frightening and yet manageable, under certain circumstances it will represent in us our own untamed nature. We must come to terms with our own passions and chaotic beliefs. Often we can only achieve this through dreams, in an environment that has been suitably created.
