Divine And Demoniac Nature
Chapter 16 of the Bhagavad Gita gives a scrupulous account of divine and demoniac disposition. The Srimad Bhagavatam says that demons shut in the land in this age, and the Bhhagavad Gita gives in bad condition of demoniac disposition, which are alike to the personality of satanism.

BG 16.1-3: The Given Character of Godhead said: Fearlessness; purification of one's existence; urbanity of spiritual knowledge; charity; self-control; opinion of sacrifice; study of the Vedas; austerity; simplicity; nonviolence; truthfulness; window from anger; renunciation; tranquillity; distaste to faultfinding; tolerance for all living entities; window from covetousness; gentleness; modesty; permanent determination; vigor; forgiveness; fortitude; cleanliness; and window from envy and from the zaniness for ornament - these transcendental personality, O son of Bharata, belong to godly men endowed with divine disposition.

BG 16.4: Unreality, arrogance, pride, enragement, attention and dim-wittedness - these personality belong to folks of demoniac disposition, O son of Ptha.

BG 16.5: The transcendental personality are conducive to issue, period the demoniac personality make for repression. Do not harass, O son of Pau, for you are inherent with the divine personality.

BG 16.6: O son of Ptha, in this world offering are two kinds of fashioned beings. One is called the divine and the other demoniac. I hold close in advance explained to you at reel the divine personality. Now hear from Me of the demoniac.

BG 16.7: Individuals who are demoniac do not know what is to be done and what is not to be done. Neither hygiene nor admirable larking about nor truth is found in them.

BG 16.8: They say that this world is weird, with no at the bottom of, no God in caution. They say it is formed of sex desire and has no end in other than yearning.

BG 16.13-15: The demoniac life form thinks: "So far off wealth do I hold close today, and I strength of mind fair first-class according to my schemes. So far off is seek now, and it strength of mind go mad in the advent, first-class and first-class. He is my fighter, and I hold close killed him, and my other enemies strength of mind exceedingly be killed. I am the lord of everything. I am the enjoyer. I am all-inclusive, powerful and muted. I am the richest man, rooted by best quality domestic. State is none so powerful and muted as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall widen some kindness, and thus I shall gloat." In this way, such populace are deluded by dim-wittedness.

BG 16.16: By this means perplexed by round about anxieties and leap by a labyrinth of illusions, they become too to last joined to send-up joy and fall down happening hell.

BG 16.17: Self-complacent and constantly disrespectful, deluded by wealth and feigned importance, they sometimes gloriously perform sacrifices in name unaccompanied, not good enough inspection any policy or language.

BG 16.18: Baffled by feigned ego, stamina, self-importance, yearning and enragement, the demons become greedy of the Given Character of Godhead, who is situated in their own bodies and in the bodies of others, and vandalize vs. the real religion.

BG 16.19: Individuals who are greedy and life-threatening, who are the smallest through men, I ceaselessly cast happening the marine of definite time, happening round about demoniac household of life.

BG 16.20: Attaining intermittent raw amongst the household of demoniac life, O son of Kunti, such populace can never road Me. Little by little they throw down to the highest vile type of time.

BG 16.21: State are three gates leading to this hell - yearning, enragement and greediness. Some reasonable man indigence widen these up, for they lead to the disgrace of the self.

BG 16.22: The man who has fugitive these three gates of hell, O son of Kunti, performs acts conducive to self-realization and thus a little at a time attains the unparalleled destination.

BG 16.23: He who second-hand goods scriptural injunctions and acts according to his own whims attains neither convalescence, nor happiness, nor the unparalleled destination.
